This policy explains how ADAM ONLINE VENTURES LTD, which runs the Green Tech Boutique online shop, uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. How we use personal data in general is explained in our Privacy policy.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and pixels, work in a similar way. We call all of them "cookies" here.
2. In short
- Our shop only uses strictly necessary storage, which it needs to work.
- We set no analytics, advertising or social media cookies.
- That is why we do not show a cookie banner: the law does not require consent for strictly necessary storage.

Your basket is stored only in your browser: it is not sent to our server until you go to payment. Our shop has no customer accounts.
Your language choice needs no cookie: it is part of the page address (English pages start with "/en").
When you go to payment, you are taken to the secure payment page of our payment provider Stripe. Stripe sets its own strictly necessary cookies there, for payment security and fraud prevention. Stripe explains them in its cookie policy: https://stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.
4. If we add other cookies
If we ever decide to use cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example analytics or advertising), we will ask for your consent first, with a banner. Refusing will be as easy as accepting, no such cookie will be set before you agree, and you will be able to change your choice at any time. We will update this page first.
5. Your browser settings
You can delete this site's cookies and local storage at any time, or block them in your browser settings. If you block local storage, the basket will not work.
