Returns and refunds
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This page explains your rights as a consumer in the UK. They come from the law, and nothing on this page reduces them.
Customers in France: French consumer law applies to you. Please read the French version of this page (choose "Français" in the language selector).
1. Changed your mind? Your 14-day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order without giving any reason.
- Deadline: 14 days from the day after you (or someone you named) receive the goods. If your order arrives in several deliveries, the 14 days start the day after the last item arrives. You can also cancel at any time before delivery.
- How to cancel: tell us clearly that you want to cancel, before the deadline, through our Contact page or by email at contact@green-tech-boutique.fr, or by post to ADAM ONLINE VENTURES LTD, 6 Norlington Road, London, England, E11 4BG, United Kingdom. Please include your order number. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt of your cancellation by email.
- Sending the goods back: you must send the goods back, or hand them to a carrier if we arrange a collection, within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling. The return address is provided by email when you make your request, together with the return instructions. Please do not send anything before you receive them.
- Large items: e-scooters and e-bikes are heavy, bulky and contain lithium-ion batteries, so they cannot normally be returned by post. We email you the return instructions for these products when you make your request. Accessories and small parts can normally be returned by ordinary post or parcel service.
- Batteries: carriers apply special safety rules to lithium batteries. Do not send a battery back on its own before we have told you how to pack and ship it, and never send back a damaged, swollen or overheated battery yourself.
Your refund
- We refund the price you paid and any standard delivery cost (delivery is free on every order).
- We refund you within 14 days of the day we receive the goods back, or of the day you show us proof that you have sent them back, whichever comes first. If we have not sent the goods yet, we refund you within 14 days of the day you cancel.
- We refund you using the payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. There is no fee for the refund.
- You may handle the product as you would in a shop to check its nature, features and working. If it has been used more than that (for example ridden outdoors, scratched, or with worn tyres), we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.
When the right to cancel does not apply
The 14-day right to cancel does not apply to:
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once you have unsealed them (for example a helmet or headwear sold sealed, once the seal is broken);
- goods that, after delivery, have become inseparably mixed with other items.

Fill in and send this form only if you want to cancel the contract.

2. Faulty or not as described? Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
The goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- Short-term right to reject (30 days): within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the goods and get a full refund.
- Repair or replacement: after 30 days, or earlier if you prefer, you can ask for a repair or a replacement, free of charge.
- Price reduction or final right to reject: if the repair or replacement is impossible, fails, or is not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can keep the goods with a price reduction, or reject them for a refund. If you reject the goods more than six months after delivery, the refund may be reduced to reflect the use you have had.
- Burden of proof: if a fault appears within six months of delivery, it is presumed to have been there at delivery, unless we prove otherwise. After six months, you may need to show that the fault was there at delivery.
- Time limit: you can make a claim up to six years after delivery in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and up to five years after you discover the problem in Scotland.
- Costs: if goods are faulty, we pay the reasonable cost of returning or collecting them. We refund you within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund.
These rights do not cover normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, or changes made to the product (including de-restricting an e-bike or e-scooter), unless the problem comes from a fault that was there at delivery.
To report a fault: write to us through our Contact page or by email at contact@green-tech-boutique.fr with your order number, a description of the problem, and photos or a short video if possible. We reply by email and tell you how to return the product, if needed.
3. Damaged on arrival
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, tell us as soon as you can, with photos. This helps us claim from the carrier, but it does not affect your legal rights above.
4. Old products and batteries
We take back your old electrical product and old batteries free of charge for recycling. See Warranty, safety and recycling.
5. Help and advice
If you are not happy with how we handled your return or claim, please write to us first by email at contact@green-tech-boutique.fr or call us on +44 7353 239038 (from the UK: 07353 239038).
We are not obliged to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider and do not currently do so for customers in the UK. If you are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you can get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice (consumer helpline 0808 223 1133, https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk), or make a claim through the small claims court (https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money). Customers in France and the EU can refer a dispute, free of charge, to our consumer mediator CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 Rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, https://www.cm2c.net.
